Save the date for the annual Pang Valley Quiz. Next year, this will be held at the British Legion in Tilehurst on Friday evening 27th March 2026 at 7pm. There will be a hot buffet served during the evening instead of fish and chips. The venue is easily accessible by several Reading bus routes. A booking form will be issued in January 2026.
We have organised a social event at the British Legion, Downing Road Tilehurst RG31 5BB. Coffee available from 11am, lunch available to order from 12 noon. Do come along for a social and chat, especially if you are no longer able to join our organised walks but would like to keep in touch with fellow PVR members.
Members of all local Groups, which includes Pang Valley Ramblers, are invited to attend. More details will follow as they are made available. The meeting will be hosted by Berkshire Walkers and Berkshire Weekend Walkers. There will a choice of walks before the meeting.
As we have enjoyed the food in previous years at the Pack Horse, Chazey Heath, Woodcote Road RG4 7UG, we have booked this year's Christmas lunch on Wednesday 10th December at 12.30pm. Please save the date and a booking form and menus will be issued nearer the time
Fed up with the dark cold days of winter and muddy walks? Then come along to the British Legion coffee morning/lunch at Downing Road Tilehurst RG31 5BB to socialise with fellow PVR ramblers over a coffee/lunch. Doors open at 11am, lunch available to order from 12 noon. Parking available.
In 2026, we are holding our annual quiz in a different venue with a different quizperson and a different supper, so do come along and support this annual event.
Diana has organised a canal boat trip after the walk Odiham a Castle and an Canal. Have lunch in Odiham after the walk or bring a picnic on the boat where drinks may be purchased.
