This year’s AGM was held in Shiplake Memorial Hall. The morning began at 11:00am with a 3.5 mile walk around the area led by Chris. Members than returned to the hall for our famous lunch of soups, crusty breads, a variety of cheeses, drinks followed by a choice of deserts. Soups & desserts were all made by members.
We then got down to the AGM. Alistair our Chairman reported on another very successful year which had a full walking programme as well as an increasing number of social events which are proving very popular. The report of our Hon Treasurer showed a stable financial year. It was noted that the group has to pay for every cheque cashed and members were encouraged to use bank transfer if they could. The two reports were approved unanimously, and thanks were given to the numerous volunteers who keep Pang Valley running.
The committee was re-elected en bloc.
