2015-07-19 ANNIVERSARY WALK AND PICNIC LUNCH

Pang Valley Ramblers celebrate their 20th Anniversary this summer are arranging a picnic at lunchtime on Sunday July 19th at Rushall Manor Farm in the Black Barn following a walk in the beautiful countryside round Stanford Dingley and Bradfield in the Pang Valley.barn
The picnic this year is being held at the lovely old Black  Barn, Rushall Manor Farm, near Bradfield. RG7 6DL. The  Barn provides a perfect setting for a summer picnic with seating & shelter if wet. The walk will start at 10:30 am from Rushall Farm Barn led by our Chairman, Chris Howlett and is of about 5 miles in length; it is aimed to return to the barn by just before 1:00pm where everyone will share in the picnic lunch. Parking is available at the Barn.
Members are asked to bring some food to put on the table for all to share. Food can be left at the Barn before starting the walk; a large fridge will be available.  The committee will provide wine, tea and cakes along with hot and cold drinks together with plastic cutlery, cups and plates.
Please feel free to come just for the picnic, or the ramble or for both ramble and picnic.
Everyone is welcome – friends and family.
Please book by 1st July. Cost £3.00 per head, pay on the day. Please let us know if you are coming and what food you will bring to share by 1st July at the latest.  Please contact: mhowes7@btinternet.com or use the booking form in the next Newsletter, distributed in the third week of March.
Rushall Farm is located on Scratchface Lane just off Back Lane between Bradfield & Stanford Dingley.  The Postcode is RG7 6DL.  Rushall Manor Farm (The Black Barn) is the next turning on the right of Back Lane after Scratchface Lane if you are coming from Bradfield or the M4.
