PVR social gathering at the British Legion Tilehurst Friday 17th January 2025
On Friday 17th January 2025 a group of 26 Pang Valley Ramblers gathered for a coffee morning at the British Legion in Tilehurst.
This has blossomed from an idea first suggested by Lee a couple of years ago and it was the best turnout we’ve had. It was good to see some members who no longer walk and some who have not attended this event before.
Most people stayed for lunch. The food offered is very good value and portions are generous. Examples of food offered are omelettes, toasted paninis, jacket potatoes, fish finger sandwiches and chilli con carne with rice.
It is planned to repeat this event around twice a year in the winter months, so if you haven’t joined us before or were unable to come this time, we look forward to seeing you at the next event in the late autumn, date to be announced.
