Next year’s group holiday has been arranged for the Isle of Man from Sunday 25th September until Saturday 1st October, to take in the island’s annual walking festival. This event provides a daily choice of guided walks at all levels of fitness from mere strolls to moorland and coastal path hikes. Walk sizes are carefully controlled and guides are all locally qualified.
We will be staying at the Ascot Hotel on a dinner, bed and breakfast deal. During the walking festival, there will be a choice of six guided walks on four of the five days; on the fifth day the festival offers suggestions, support and help for self-guided walking. The price includes the ferry from Heysham or Liverpool as a foot passenger; it also includes the IoM card giving 5 days’ unlimited free transport on the island’s bus, train and mountain railways, as well as single entry to a variety of tourist attractions; this is useful, as English bus passes are not valid. Packed lunches are not provided
Cost: £594 per person sharing; £744 per person sole occupancy. We strongly advise everyone to take out holiday insurance.
A deposit of £80 pp is required by 13th November at the latest and the balance by 12th August 2022.
