Berkshire Area AGM
The Berkshire Area AGM will be held at Reading School, Erleigh Road, Reading RG1 5LW. It will be hosted by Loddon Valley. The schedule is as follows:
09.30am Hall opens for the start of walk, 8.5 mile, which includes the Kennet and the Thames. Also for displays to be set up
10.30am Start of 4 mile walk which will be around Reading University
13.00pm Lunch in hall, bring your own picnic. Tea, coffee, soft drinks and cake and biscuits will be provided
14.00pm Talk by Peter Innes from Reading University about Climate Change and its impact on the natural world
15.00pm AGM
16.00pm Trustee Question and Answer
The school is less than 30 minutes walk from Reading Station; buses from the station – no3 and 9, also 19 a, b and c, start in the centre of Reading and also stop at the station. Nearest stop for school, Craven Road opposite main entrance of Royal Berkshire Hospital, parking on site.
Loddon Valley will provide refreshments but Ramblers should bring their own lunch.
