Spring 2024 Holiday at Malhamdale, South Yorkshire Dales 20-24 May 2024
Why not cheer yourselves up and book a holiday for spring next year! We have organised a 4-night holiday with HF Holidays from Monday 20th May to Friday 24th May 2024 at Newfield Hall, Malham. The HF website gives details of the house and its facilities, types of walks and area.
We have arranged a Gentle Walking holiday which will include a “gentle walk” each day, of 4-4.5 miles (with ascents of between 394ft/140m to 524ft/160m), as well as 2 others each day of between 7/8 and 9/9.5 miles. Continue reading

Fish and Chip Supper and Quiz Friday 3rd November 2023
Our annual flagship event of a quiz and Fish and Chips will be on Friday 3rd November 2023. It will be held at Pangbourne Village Hall, RG8 7AN (where there is ample free parking). The booking form was sent out on 29th September – cut off date 20th October 2023. Doors will be open at 7.00pm; the quiz will start at 7.30pm and a fish and chip supper will be served during the interval, together with tea and coffee. Salt, vinegar and ketchup will be provided. The 2023 Pang Valley Christmas lunch is on Wednesday 6th December at the Pack Horse Pub, Woodcote Road, Mapledurham, RG4 7UG. The booking form and menus were sent out on September 29th. The cut-off date is Monday 20th November 2023.
Pang Valley Coffee Morning – Friday 21st April 2023
Pang Valley is organising a further social coffee morning for all members at the Royal British Legion, Downing Road Tilehurst RG31 5BB on Friday 21st April from 11 am onwards. The bar will be open for tea, coffee and drinks. Food will be available from 12 noon if you want to have lunch – bar type meals at reasonable cost.

Pang Valley Holiday Isle of Man – September 2022
This year’s group holiday has been arranged for the Isle of Man from Sunday 25th September until Saturday 1st October, to take in the island’s annual walking festival. This event provides a daily choice of guided walks at all levels of fitness from mere strolls to moorland and coastal path hikes.
