Park in Mapledurham Playing Fields free car park, off Upper Woodcote Road. - nearest post code RG4 7LB. A rural walk across the golf course towards Mapledurham to the old apple farm at Cross Lanes returning via Cane End and Kidmore End. Bring packed lunch, may be muddy in parts.

Exploring some new footpaths and the Holybrook.Nice level walk, no stiles. Coffee available after from Coffee Hut by car park.

Start from City Rd end of Little Heath Rd (park by Park). Walk down past the Folly, over the motorway to Theale through the Englefield Estate and back up over Pincent's Hill.

Meet at St John the Baptist curch, St John's Road, caversham. On road parking - 2 hour limit. 23, 28, 29 buses from Friar Street and Apex Plaza central Reading stop outside the church. A short walk over Caversham weir, Forbury Gardens, Reading Abbey and Oscar Wilde walk. Coffee, tea and toasted sandwiches in the community cafe after the walk.. Some grass, possibly mud.

Meet in car park at grid reference along road from Bradfield to Ashampstead. Slight uphill walk through woods across the common to Stubbles and Ashampstead village. Return along Pinfold Lane and Childs Court Farm. Ascent/ descent 370 ft.

Continuing along the St James' Way (68.5 mile long Camino Ingles walk from Reading to Southampton). Catch 10.07am train from Reading to Bramley. We will finish at Worting and catch bus to Basingstoke station and then train back to Reading. Please note buses/trains are approx. half hourly. Please bring a packed lunch.

Heading out of Blewbury on A417, turn left opposite Savages Garden Centre, signposted Recreation Ground, where there is a car park on the left.(nearest postcode OX11 9HB.) Pretty thatched cottages in Blewbury then past Blewburton Hill with spectacular views of Thames Valley. We also visit the villages of Aston Upthorpe and Aston Tirrold. NOTE START TIME 10AM.

Meet in the main car park in Prospect Park (by the playground) for a walk through some of the woodlands in Tilehurst.Nearest Postcode: RG30 2PX. What3words: flying.burns.economies.
