Work on the dismantling of the old bridge has had to stop because of the ongoing heavy rains and the high river levels. The Whitchurch Bridge Company regrets to announce that the re-opening of the Bridge to road traffic has been put back from 14th April 2014 (the originally advertised date) to July 2014.
