Pang Valley Ramblers first social event of the New Year will be a Fish and Chip Supper including a General Knowledge Quiz! This will be held at Pangbourne Village Hall (where there is ample free parking) on Friday 7 February. Doors will be open at 7.00pm; the quiz will start at 7.30pm and a fish and chip supper (vegetarian option available) will be served during the interval. Free tea and coffee will be provided and you are welcome to bring your own drink (alcoholic or otherwise). There will, of course, be the obligatory raffle. Places cost £7.50 per head, PVR members and non-members.
Teams of four players or so may be organised beforehand, if entrants wish, but this is not compulsory. We will ensure everyone is allocated to a team and can enjoy all the fun. To book places members should follow the instructions on the form in the Winter Newsletter. (If you do not have a form please email treasurer@pvramblers.org.uk for details). Please give an email address or contact number as you will be contacted on receipt of your money in order to confirm your booking, and please book by Monday 3 February.
