2017-08-16 Coach Trip to the Isle of Wight

A DAY OF SEASIDE, CLIFF AND DOWNLAND VIEWS WITH A 5 OR 10 MILE WALK

The walks will start from Yarmouth Ferry Terminal and will mostly be along the coast. There will be a pub lunch or you may prefer to bring a picnic. The walks will have superb views and opportunities to see interesting birds and wild flowers, so bring your binoculars, camera (phone!) and water as it will be a lovely sunny day!  There will be ice-creams to  buy  along the routes and most important of all, toilets!

This trip is also suitable for people who like shorter than 5 mile walks or just to sit or paddle on the beach.  There are many buses (some hop-on and open-top) along the route to return to Yarmouth or visit the beaches and viewpoints.

IofWWe have booked a 40 seater coach so to retain the price we need 40 people! Please bring friends and family for a day at the seaside!

The coach has been booked to leave Rivermead at 7.45 am prompt (please be in the car park earlier to ensure a prompt start, it will cost £5 for all day parking; we have permission and they will know we are there). We will catch the 10.00 am ferry from Lymington to Yarmouth.  We return on the 6.05 pm ferry to arrive back in Reading at approximately 8.45 pm.
