WALK ON 8 JANUARY 2014 – CHANGE OF START
It is not possible to reach the intended start point at the bottom of Mill Lane. The walk will therefore start from the junction of the Reading/Henley road and Mill Lane , with parking as near as you can get, possibly in the lane opposite Mill Lane or in the CP nearby, just before the Tesco CP if there is space. The walk will be away from the river towards Harpsden.
WALK ON SUNDAY 12 JANUARY 2014 – CANCELLED
The main way to reach the start point Car Park (Sandford Lane) is flooded and not passable and this applies also to sections of the walk, especially near the River Loddon. This is unlikely to improve by Sunday, so for safety reasons it has been decided to CANCEL this walk.
ASHAMPSTEAD WALK 5 January 2014 – MUDDY
This is a warning that the area around Ashampstead is very muddy and that the walk will certainly be very tiring. If you decide to accept the challenge please ensure that you are suitably dressed.

Pang Valley Ramblers Group Annual Walk, Lunch and AGM
In case it has slipped your memory, this year’s Members’ Social event consisting of a short 4 mile walk and lunch will be held on this coming Sunday 3rd November 2013 at Sonning Common Village Hall (SU707803).
The walk will commence at 10:30am and the lunch will follow in the village hall. Please come for the walk or just the lunch; this is provided by the Group and we have home-made soups, bread and a variety of cheeses and wine. It is a great opportunity to meet and socialise with each other.
As in previous years we will hold a brief AGM (starting at 1:30pm), which we are required to do once a year, following the lunch.
