2016-08-10 ALDWORTH WALK AND AFTERNOON TEA
On Wednesday 10th August, the Pang Valley Ramblers have arranged a five mile walk along the Downs starting from The Bell at Aldworth and followed by tea at St Mary’s Church. We will meet at The Bell at 12.00 noon, for a quick drink first, or turn up for the walk at 12.30pm. The walk will be over the Downs where the views are outstanding. The walk will finish at St Mary’s Church near The Bell at 2:30 – 3:00pm where we can have tea and home-made cakes. Continue reading
2016-06-15 BOURTON-ON-THE-WATER COACH TRIP AND WALKS
We have organised a coach to take us to Bourton-on-the-Water in the Cotswolds on Wednesday 15th June. We will leave Sonning Common at 8:30am, Pangbourne Village Centre at 9:00am and drive to Bourton-on-the-Water. Please invite your friends!
We will have three choices on arrival; a longer walk of 10 or so miles, a shorter walk of 5 or so miles, both finishing in Bourton with time to spend doing other things. For others this could just be a day in Bourton. Continue reading

The PVR held another very successful event in its social calendar on Friday 5th February at Pangbourne Village Hall, when another sell-out group of sixty members and guests enjoyed an evening of mind-stretching questions broken only by delicious freshly-fried fish & chips ferried from the local chippy in Pangbourne. 2015-11-01 PANG VALLEY ANNUAL BASH!
We met at 10:30 on rather an autumnal, misty morning for a walk through Sulham Woods then back to the small Purley Barn for lunch and the AGM. It was a great event, lovely walk, good things to eat and drink and the AGM. Read more in the Reports Section.
WALK ON SUNDAY 11TH OCTOBER 2015 HENLEY – NEW START PLACE AND TIME
Due to a clash with the Henley Half Marathon also starting from the Henley Rugby Club, the Pang Valley Ramblers walk on Sunday will now start from the Waitrose CP in the centre of Henley with a delayed starting time of 10:15am.
